Despite what the title might suggest I love this arc and the battles that take place in it. But there are parts that really annoyed me thus I have put them in a list form.

This encourages me to cover the many compelling aspects of this anime. These 8 Shinigami make up the Vizards. Aizen framed Kisuke as the one guilty for conducting Hollowfication experiments. Tessai the captain of the Kido Corps aided Kisuke and ended up on trial with him. Kisuke devotes his time to figure out how to undo the Hollowfication. Even though he never succeeds, he does help the Vizards overcome their Hollowification.
The Vizards learned to tame their inner Hollow and use its power in battle. They do this by donning their Hollow masks. This list will not have Ichigo or Tosen. TV Tokyo dentsu, Pierrot. Character Summary. Rose is the former Captain of Squad Three and later regains that position. First appeared in Bleach episode Rose is a tall blond man who is best known for his fashion sense. His attire includes a traditional suit with cuffs and an untucked collar.
He enjoys art and comes across both cocky and lazy. His Accomplishments and Abilities. Rose assisted his fellow Vizards and Shinigami in the fight against Aizen and Stark. Yamamoto hand-picked him to join the team that was investigating the Shinigami disappearances. All the Vizards can Hollowfy including Rose for a duration of three minutes.
The whip can attack many foes at a time from varying distances. He used a wire from his sword wrap around and crush a Gillian.
Why he is Ranked Eighth. Of all the Vizards Rose is my least favorite. Rose was absolutely useless in his fights against Aizen and Stark. His mannerisms annoyed me and I honestly could care less about his thoughts on art. For Captain level Shinigami his Zanpakuto and abilities were lackluster. It was awesome when he destroyed the Gillian. Number 7 Mashiro Kuna. Her Accomplishments and Abilities.
She was the first of Vizards to fully control her Hollow One of her claims is being able to Hollowfy for 15 straight hours. Mashiro gave Wonderweiss a good fight and destroyed the Hollow known as Hooler.
So, being able to fight him is no easy feat. While Hollowfied she can fire a really cool cero. Why she is Ranked Seventh. Mashiro antics are so hard to watch that it makes me feel embarrassed to be an anime fan. She does have a cool appearance and is a great fighter.
But her antics prevent me from ranking her higher. Number 6 Kensai Muguruma. Kensei is the former Captain of Squad Nine and later reclaims that title. He first appeared in episode He saved Mashiro from Wonderweiss after her Hollow mask broke.
A young Shuhei Hisagi was also saved by Kensei. His Zanpakuto is named Tachikaze which is a dagger. It creates blades of wind that can dice Hollows with ease and it can fire energy blasts. His Hollowfication lasts for three minutes. Why he is Ranked Sixth. Her Zanpakuto Kubikiri meaning Head slicing serpent, is a standard manta.
Her hollow mask takes a general skeletal appearance but has a longhorn protruding on top of it with diamond markings. The past lieutenant of the 8th division under Shinsuui Kyoraku and now current captain of the 8th division. She seems detached and secretive at most times, but she cares for her fellow visored. She poses captain class spiritual pressure, and because she is visored, she also possesses dual-type spiritual energy.
Her Shikai has the command smash. Like everyone listed so far, her Bankai is unknown. Her hollow mask is diamond-shaped with a cross in the middle.
Strength isn't everything, and Hachigen helps strengthen this argument. I would rank him higher, but it feels like it would be overstepping boundaries. Even though he is enormous, Hachigen is very gentle and kind.
If needed, he will engage with his katana. For his hollow mask at first, it was an ordinary mask with, but then later on n the show, it changed to resembling a Balinese demon mask with tusks, native American feathers. Generally known as Rose. Rojuro was a former captain well now he is the captain of the 3rd division. He typically has a bored expression.
By his clothes and overall appearance, you can tell he has interests in music as he is usually playing with his guitar. He also likes reading manga, which he hates people spoiling the plot. He treats his own fellow visored like family, which shows he's a nice guy. Pretty flash to me Its ability is when rose taps the lash when the strap is attached to an enemy; the whip glows and vibrates like a guitar making destructive soundwaves.
Its ability is creating physical illusions. The music which plays allows the rose to have power over an opponent's heart. As long as the opponent's heart is deceived, the illusion is convincing enough o even cause physical damage. The former captain of the 7th division. Love is the laid back and easy going a member of the group. This allows them to augment their Shinigami abilities with Hollow powers, as well as giving them access to some of the more generic Hollow abilities.
Their spiritual pressure likewise changes into a mix of Hollow and Shinigami. This process of donning one's Hollow mask is referred to as Hollowfication. The Visored are former captain- and lieutenant-level Shinigami. They are considered criminals by the Soul Society for committing the ultimate taboo of acquiring Hollow powers; their status as former leaders of Soul Society also marks them as traitors. When they approach Ichigo Kurosaki, they come across as reclusive and loyal only to themselves.
Their intentions are eventually revealed when they arrive at the Battle of the Fake Karakura Town. Even after the events that made them outlaws by Soul Society years ago, the Visored bear no ill will toward the Gotei 13 , but they prefer not to consider themselves allies of the former organization they belonged to either. Instead, they expressively confirm themselves enemies of Aizen, and by extension, the Espada , and state that they are allies of Ichigo Kurosaki.

Around years before the current storyline, people in Soul Society started to disappear, but more than simple death, there were no bodies found; only the victims' clothes remained. Due to this, the 9th Division 's command structure took it upon themselves to investigate the situation: Kensei Muguruma , then-captain of the Ninth Division, Mashiro Kuna , his lieutenant at the time, and their subordinates comprising the 3rd to 6th Seats.
When their Reiatsu disappeared in a manner similar to the previous disappearances, the Gotei 13 became worried and sent out a new investigation team personally hand picked by Captain-Commander Yamamoto to see what had happened. When the group finally arrived they found Hiyori and then themselves under attack by a Hollowfied Kensei and Mashiro.
Aizen, Shinji's lieutenant, then shows up with Gin Ichimaru , Shinji's 3rd Seat in tow, explaining that he was following his orders. He initially gained the upper hand due to the increase in his power, but eventually succumbed more to the Hollowfication process. In order to regain his Shinigami powers after being stripped of them, Ichigo Kurosaki has his Chain of Fate severed by Tessai Tsukabishi under orders from Kisuke Urahara in order to force him to regain his lost power before becoming a Hollow.
Ichigo's transformation happens out of sequence, his mask forming first instead of his body breaking apart and reforming, a sign of his resistance to becoming a Hollow, and he emerges as a Shinigami wearing a Hollow's mask, which he breaks off. Ichigo is able to regain control and tear off the mask before the transformation completes. Ichigo later discovers that there are other Shinigami who have acquired Hollow powers besides himself.
Ichigo insists that he's merely using them to learn how to control his inner Hollow. As this happens, Ichigo's body transforms into an uncontrollable Hollow form, which the Visored take turns fighting in order to keep it in check. Ichigo eventually manages to overcome and subdue his inner Hollow in 62 minutes and 30 seconds , [28] and begins training with the Visored to have better control over his new powers. Ichigo abandons his training when the town is threatened, despite having little control over his new powers compared to the more experienced Visored.
When the Shinigami begin to lose their respective battles and the Arrancar begin to mount a comeback that culminates in Aizen's escape, the Visored appear on the battlefield. Shinji briefly greets Aizen in a mocking manner, and then asks his fellow Visored if there is anyone in the Gotei 13 they would like to speak to. He ends up in a short argument with Hiyori , followed by the others expressing their disinterest in speaking to their former comrades, with the exception of Lisa , who flash steps away.
Shinji plainly tells him against Aizen, yes, but that he holds no such ambitions against the Gotei Yamamoto asks Shinji if he is right to assume they are then allies, to which Shinji replies that they aren't. However, he clarifies that although they are not on the Gotei 13's side, they are against Aizen and are allies of Ichigo.
He then returns to the other Visored, who bring forth their masks when Hooleer spews forth a huge amount of Gillian class Menos from its mouth.
