I noticed someone downvoted this it was not me. Leech Seed is an alternative method of healing for Torterra. Bulky Water-type Pokemon are generally good options to use with Torterra as they can take on many of the Fire-type Pokemon in the tier. Giga drain is such a bad move , due to the low pp count. The same goes for synthesis. You better use medium strong attacks you can use several times for a longer period of time for a higher damage output overall. Synthesis restores the user's current HP based on the weather in the battle.
Synthesis may seem like a good idea but if rain or sand comes in it's useless. It's much safer to just use Giga so you can heal despite the weather. Leech Seed can be removed by Haze or switching.
